Hübner Schlösser & Cie (HSCie) exclusively advised Active Capital Company (ACC) and the managing partners of SchahlLED Lighting GmbH on the sale to F.W. Thorpe Plc.
ACC invested in SchahlLED with management in 2019 and has supported the company in implementing strategic initiatives over the past few years. Through add-on acquisitions and a defined strategic sales focus, SchahlLED achieved significant growth and is now the preferred LED solution provider for many manufacturing and logistics companies in Germany.
The acquisition of SchahlLED will further strengthen the F.W. Thorpe Group’s presence in Europe, including the ability to grow its SmartScan sales in Germany and other selected European territories. The affiliation with the F.W. Thorpe Group marks the beginning of the next phase of growth for SchahlLED, particularly with regard to expansion across Europe.
