Hübner Schlösser & Cie (HSCie), the internationally active independent M&A advisory firm based in Munich, acted as exclusive M&A advisor to Haselhorst Associates GmbH in its sale to the H&Z Group, a portfolio company of EMZ Partners.
The strategy consultancy Haselhorst Associates is continuing its steady growth trajectory and has entered into a partnership with the H&Z Group. Founded by Dr. Arno Haselhorst, the company has supported restructuring projects for some of the largest corporations in the DACH region and has evolved into one of Germany’s leading restructuring consultancies. Haselhorst Associates currently employs a strong team of around 35 restructuring professionals, including 6 partners, all of whom are now acquiring shares in the H&Z Group.
The future strategic focus will primarily be on holistic restructuring advisory services combined with the targeted assumption of CRO mandates. Additional business areas of Haselhorst Associates include digitalization consulting and close collaboration with municipal stakeholders in the context of urban transformation.
For H&Z, the partnership with Haselhorst Associates represents an important building block in the successful growth strategy of the group.
HSCie exclusively advised Haselhorst Associates throughout all phases of the sales process. Osborne Clarke acted as legal advisor to Haselhorst Associates. The parties have agreed not to disclose details of the transaction.
