HSCie was founded in Munich in 1991 against the backdrop of the growing importance of independent M&A advisory in Germany by two experienced M&A advisors: Vincent Hübner and Joachim Schlösser. Drawing on their previous work at the Matuschka Group, they established HSCie with the ambition to support company transactions independently, in a structured manner, and with personal accountability. This approach continues to shape HSCie’s way of working to this day.
With the addition of further partners, HSCie gradually evolved into a partnership-led M&A advisory firm. The focus was on building long-term client relationships and repeatedly supporting complex transactions. This phase laid the foundation for today’s structure, characterized by clear responsibility in mandate leadership and close collaboration within the partner group.
Through the establishment of the international partner network SOCIUS, HSCie responded to the increasing internationalization of corporate transactions. The goal was to support cross-border mandates not only occasionally, but consistently and reliably over the long term. To this day, collaboration with independent partner firms enables us to combine local market expertise with centralized process management.
Today, HSCie is a partnership-led M&A advisory firm with an experienced team and a broad client base. Our advisory services span various industries, market environments, and both national and international transactions.
