Effective January 1st 2008, GANSKE VERLAGSGRUPPE (GVG) acquired a majority interest in Schneemenschen GmbH. Whereas the Schneemenschen management remains invested the private investor and VcW Venture Capital Westpfalz sold their participation to GVG. The parties agreed to not disclose the transaction value.
Under the roof of GVG, a well-established Hamburg based publishing house, Schneemenschen GmbH will be able to further facilitate its growth path and add to the new majority owner’s exsiting travel and wellness activities which comprise TRAVEL HOUSE MEDIA, GRÄFE UND UNZER, MERIAN, IPUBLISH as well as FÜR SIE, PETRA and VITAL.
Task
