The company’s core domains are Schneehoehen.de, Alpen-Guide.de, Wellness.info, and Staedte-Reisen.de. Schneemenschen GmbH has about 40 employees.

Transaction<\/h2>\n

Effective January 1st 2008, GANSKE VERLAGSGRUPPE (GVG) acquired a majority interest in Schneemenschen GmbH. Whereas the Schneemenschen management remains invested the private investor and VcW Venture Capital Westpfalz sold their participation to GVG. The parties agreed to not disclose the transaction value.<\/p>\n

Under the roof of GVG, a well-established Hamburg based publishing house, Schneemenschen GmbH will be able to further facilitate its growth path and add to the new majority owner’s exsiting travel and wellness activities which comprise TRAVEL HOUSE MEDIA, GR\u00c4FE UND UNZER, MERIAN, IPUBLISH as well as F\u00dcR SIE, PETRA and VITAL.<\/p>\n

Task<\/h2>\n

H\u00fcbner Schl\u00f6sser & Cie advised the seller during the entire process, i.e. identified potential interested parties, prepared the Investment Memorandum and Management Presentation, organized the due diligence process, and led the negotiations.<\/p>\n
