Hübner Schlösser & Cie (HSCie) exclusively advised Active Capital Company (ACC) and the managing shareholders of SchahlLED Lighting GmbH on the sale to F.W. Thorpe Plc.
In 2019, ACC invested in SchahlLED together with the management team and supported the company over the past years in implementing strategic initiatives. Through add-on acquisitions and a clearly defined strategic sales focus, SchahlLED achieved significant growth and is now the preferred LED solutions provider for many manufacturing and logistics companies in Germany.
The acquisition of SchahlLED will further strengthen the presence of the F.W. Thorpe Group in Europe and, among other things, provide opportunities to increase its SmartScan revenues in Germany and other selected European regions. As part of the F.W. Thorpe Group, SchahlLED is now entering its next growth phase, particularly with regard to expansion across Europe.
